Being the fifty-third annual edition of this sampling of Christian verse and thought.  The 1858 edition features nine chromolithographic plates by Lemercier.  All the text pages are bordered in red.  The binding is by John Leighton and signed "J.L." in gold on the spine.  Minor shelf wear else a very good to fine copy.
