(McMinnville, Tennessee: 1910s). Leather accordian case (closed: 5 3/4 x 4 inches; open: 33 3/4 x 18 inches), with 27, 5 3/4 x 3 inch color photographs and descriptions of trees and shrubs. First edition.

Being a salesman's sample booklet for the Cumberland Valley Nurseries (name embossed on the cover) showing twenty-seven varieties of trees and shrubs featuring crape myrtles, forsythias, syringa, and tamarix.  The cards are pasted on to panels in a leather carrying case.  Sample booklets from Southern nurseries are most uncommon.  The case shows some exterior wear.  A good plus copy only.  The long lived nursery is still active today.
