Published a year prior Richardson's death, Picturesque Designs contains plans for cottages, villas and mansions.  As a working architect, many of these homes were actually built.  Although atypical of prevailing Victorian designs, Picturesque Designs was very popular, reprinted in England and America under this title and as The Englishman's House.  Professionally rebacked with original spine used as an overlay, else very good.
